Plot summary and review
The plot of Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo spans over three generations of soldiers who fight for their country against the enemies. The movie begins with Major General Amarjeet Singh (Amitabh Bachchan) leading a mission to capture a Pakistani spy named Rana Bhaiji (Danny Denzongpa) during the 1971 Indo-Pak war. However, Rana escapes and vows to take revenge on Amarjeet. Amarjeet's son Vikramjeet Singh (Bobby Deol) joins the Navy and marries Aarti Singh (Nagma), but dies in action while saving his fellow soldiers from a Pakistani submarine. Vikramjeet's son Kunal Singh (Bobby Deol) grows up to be a rebellious and carefree young man who joins the Army only to fulfill his grandfather's wish.
